Applications, on-site visits, laboratory samples and certificates — one chain, for organic farms across Bali's nine kabupaten.
A farmer applies, or a technician applies on their behalf. Everything after that is assessed on the land and confirmed in a laboratory before a farm ever appears on the public register.
Name, village, crops and a short background. Submitted by the farmer, or by a technician visiting on their behalf.
A technician records the land and its GPS location, photographs it, and notes how it is farmed — everything assessed on site.
Soil, water from the subak, air, and produce where useful, each coded and sent to a laboratory for analysis.
Results are entered against each sample. Good results move the application toward approval; poor ones to rejection, with a reason recorded.
An approved farm is listed on the register and issued a certificate whose number and QR code resolve back to this site.
A single application, assessed on the land and in the lab. Soil, subak water, air and produce all return clear, so the farm is registered.
Registered
All four samples returned clear, so certificate BOFAR-2026-0114 was issued on 2026-03-14, valid twelve months. Expiry is worked out the moment someone looks it up, so the certificate can never quietly outlive its date on a printout.
| Sample | Type | Laboratory | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
SMP-0114-01 |
Soil | Abangan Lab | Clear |
SMP-0114-02 |
Subak water | Abangan Lab | Clear |
SMP-0114-03 |
Air | Abangan Lab | Clear |
SMP-0114-04 |
Produce | Denpasar AgriLab | Clear |
A certificate is only issued once the inspection passes and every sample has returned clear — never while one is pending or failed.

A certificate's status is worked out the moment it is read — active, expired, or revoked. A screenshot taken today cannot outlive the certificate it shows.
A farm is never simply turned away. A rejection records the reason alongside the decision and its author, so the farmer knows exactly what was found.
Land, water source, soil, crops and GPS are entered on site against a fixed set of fields, so a profile reads the same way for every farm.
Its number and QR code resolve to this register. A buyer confirms a farm against the source of truth, not against a piece of paper.
Only an approved application appears on the register. Applications, visits and lab results move through recorded states, each transition kept in an audit trail.
Administrators decide; technicians record. Access is checked from the database on every request, so a change in role takes effect immediately.
